Hello!! Welcome to my family tree page!!
I have been working on genealogy for about five years now. I didn't really
get heavily into it until lately. Now its my major hobby.
This family tree is a constant work in progress.
Right now things are particularly messy. It is going to take some time for
me to catch up. Please forgive the mess.
Please don't take everything it says as gospel because I am human and do
make mistakes, although I must say that I work VERY hard to avoid those. Even
so, its always evolving and changing. You WILL actually notice how much
better
I've gotten through practice. Certain parts need to be re-done as they no
longer meet my standards. All in good time. :)
I now use sources with most every name. Some things come from first hand
experience. Some come from books or manuscripts. Some of it is gathered from
websites like ancestry.com or findagrave.com. Even though these are just
websites, many times they will have photo copies of original documents or
pictures of headstones. They have been a valuable source for me.. far more so
than message boards. I am as diligent as possible in my research.
Of course the best source is a direct and tangible source. I will not generally mark One World
Tree as direct evidence. If there are more than fifty or so trees that agree
then I will consider it and notate it appropriately. Unfortunately I have
been
a bit homebound for a while and cannot get out to do direct research,
but I do the best that I possibly can.
